About Dr Amanda Elliot

Research interests include: The transformation of work and welfare in the 21st century, the regulation of populations through social policies and more recently political narratives, communicative cultures and video games.

She has particular expertise in the field of Australian and comparative health policy and financing having spent time as a senior health policy analyst in the Australian Parliament. Current research projects include the role of the principle of less eligibility in contemporary welfare and industrial relations reform and the intensification of sexualised harassment within video game communities.
