Research News + Opportunities submission guidelines

We welcome submissions from all members of the University community for the Research News + Opportunities newsletter.

The newsletter is distributed every Thursday.

Deadline for submissions: 5pm Wednesday.

Content and editorial guidelines

All content must be written in the style of the University’s Editorial Style Guide and not be defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, harm (or likely to harm) the reputation of the University, or breach any laws or University policies.


The target audience is Researchers and Research Managers.

Any content published must be relevant to the University experience of Researchers.


Longer articles can be accommodated on the website, please ensure key points are contained in the initial 100 words as this will be used as the article's introduction in the newsletter.


Articles may only be submitted by University staff unless permission has been granted by the editorial team.
