Abstracts - Who can present their research?
All early career research fellows are welcome to submit an abstract.
An early career researcher is one whose PhD was awarded within the last 10 years. Hence, postgraduate research students are not eligible.
Abstracts are due Tuesday 11 September 2012
Decision will be advised Tuesday 11 September 2012
If your abstract is accepted, your talk will be:
Five minutes long plus two minutes questions time.
Your talk will have a broad audience, hence, you need to refrain the use of acronyms and specialised terms. You talk should be focusing on:
- Why you are doing the work?
- What is the problem?
- How is your work advancing/hoping to advance your field?
- A general overview of the work
Present results if you wish, but refrain from complex analysis. You only have five minutes talk time.
As we have limited time we request that you email us your slides so that they can all be loaded onto one computer. We will contact you about this closer to the date.
You can download the 2011 Program and abstracts (PDF).
