Undergraduate pre-honours

Undergraduate pre-honours projects may be approved by the Head of Department, but if there is any doubt please contact Research Integrity for advice.

Low-risk sub-committees

If your project is low risk (PDF), and a relevant low-risk subcommittee exists, your application will be directed to this committee for review.

University of Sydney Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs)

The University of Sydney HREC was established in 1990. There are now two Committees to more efficiently handle the large number of applications received.
