DEEWR offers the Endeavour Awards for citizens of the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. The Foundations, Councils and Institutes established by DFAT each offer grant opportunities for researchers.
The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) offers training and capacity building through Fellowships, research support and training. Find out more at the ACIAR website.
DIISR offers funding support for scientists wishing to pursue international collaboration opportunities through the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund and the International Science Linkages Program. Find out more at the DIISR website.
Universities Australia (UA) offers funding through the Australia-Germany Joint Research Cooperation Scheme.
This scheme is a joint initiative of the UA and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Germany's national agency for the support of international academic co-operation.
The UA also offers funding through European Fellowships, scholarships for study at the Univeristy of L'Aquila and funding for collaboration with the University of Papua New Guinea.
NHMRC - EU
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) – European Union (EU) Collaborative Research Grants scheme provides assistance to Australian researchers to participate in multinational research collaborative projects with international researchers that have been selected for funding under the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
