Aims |
A Development Grant provides funding support to individual researchers, research teams, or a HMR company in partnership with a researcher/s to undertake research at the early proof-of-principle or pre-seed stage. The Scheme supports the commercial development of a product, process, procedure or service that if applied, would result in improved health care, disease prevention or provide health cost savings. |

Eligibility |
It is generally required that, at the time of application submission, the Chief Investigator A (CIA) is an Australian citizen or is a permanent resident in Australia. It is also required that the research proposal involves the CIA being based in Australia for the duration of the grant. |

No specific limit to funding. Grants awarded for 1-3 years. |
