What is classified as consultancy?

Consultancy draws on and applies existing knowledge, and there is no academic output such as publications in refereed journals. Its prime purpose is not the generation of new knowledge

Projects or activities that involve the application of existing knowledge or expertise to achieve particular targeted outcomes are classified by the University as consultancy projects.
