Aims

USCRF Research Infrastructure Grants will provide funding for key research platforms, core equipment and capacities that enhance the cancer research effort of the University. They are intended to promote strategic development of capability and greater levels of collaboration by cancer researchers.

Funding

Requests of up to $250,000 will be considered. Where the application is for part funding of a purchase greater than $250,000, funding for the remainder must already have been secured and evidence for this funding must be supplied with this application.

Eligibility

Eligible uses of the funds include equipment and other technical capacity such as databases and electronic platforms.

Requests for salary support will not be considered.

Applicants must be:

  • employed by the University, or formally appointed as an affiliate, and
  • a member of the University of Sydney Cancer Research Network.

  1. Read the USCRF Research Infrastructure Grants guidelines (PDF)
  2. Complete the application form (RTF)
  3. Submit one original signed hardcopy of your application, including quotations, to the Cancer Research Network Executive Officer, QEII Building D02, University of Sydney by the closing date.
  4. Forward an electronic copy of the full application, including quotations to cancer-research@med.usyd.edu.au
