Bullying and harrassment
Bullying and harassment alone do not constitute research misconduct. The University takes issues of bullying or harassment very seriously and has policies in place to deal with these matters.
- Section 4 of the University’s Code of Conduct deals with the personal and professional behaviour expected of staff.
- The University’s Workplace Bullying Prevention Policy and Resolution Procedure specifies how these issues should be resolved and advises researchers as to who they should go to and where they can seek advice on these matters.
The University also offers counselling for staff and for students.
