Confidentiality

The Research Integrity Advisers, the Director of Research Integrity and the Heads of School must act in the best interests of the University.

Where possible, information will be treated as confidential.

However, if you report a matter of a serious nature, for example the misappropriation of public funds, or laboratory practices that present a risk to the health and wellbeing of staff or students, your adviser may be obliged to escalate the issue and as a result it may not be possible for the information you provide to be treated confidentially.
