Stating affiliation

Attribution of research output/publication affiliation

Sydney researchers are required to cite their institutional research home as the University of Sydney when recording their institutional affiliation in research outputs, regardless of the placement of the affiliation in the output.

Do not use acronyms.

Publications

Our preferred style for attribution is the University of Sydney, and if space permits, Faculty/School/Institute/ Centre and finally Discipline.

Example
Firstname Lastname, the University of Sydney, Faculty/School/Institute/Centre, Discipline

Creative works

A byline in all publications and promotional material associated with the project stating the researcher’s affiliation with the University and if space permits, the logo of the University. If the project has been supported by the University (in-kind or funds) then acknowledgement of that support is also required.
