SCA JUNE EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS LAUNCH
The SCA June exhibitions and events program will be launched on Wednesday 1 June 2011. Highlights of the opening night include The David Harold Tribe Sculpture Award, Black & White, Scottie Wilson, Visual Imagery from Nonconscious Thought and Bite the Moon.
FAUVETTE LOUREIRO MEMORIAL ARTISTS TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP 2010 RECIPIENT ANNOUNCED
Justene Williams has been announced as the recipient of the 2010 Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Artists Travel Scholarship. The exhibition of finalists work will be on display in the SCA Galleries until Friday 24 September.
SYDNEY UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL 2010
The 2010 Sydney Underground Film Festival, directed by SCA graduate, Stefan Popescu and MFA candidate, Katherine Berger, will open tonight at The Factory Theatre and continues to Saturday 11 September.
HELEN LEMPRIERE TRAVELLING ART SCHOLARSHIP
The 2010 Helen Lempriere Travelling Art Scholarship will feature the work of SCA graduates Marley Dawson, Robin Hungerford, Kenzee Patterson and Jelena Telecki, PhD candidates Clare Milledge and Giles Ryder and MVA candidate Agatha Gothe-Snape.

JOHANNES KUHNEN: A SURVEY OF INNOVATION
Johannes Kuhnen: a survey of innovation presents the story of Johannes Kuhnen’s practice as it has evolved over more than 30 years. Associate Professor Helge Larsen will open the exhibition at Sydney College of the Arts on Wednesday 4 August, 5:30 to 7:30pm. The exhibition continues to Saturday 28 August 2010.

The Australian Collection of Outsider Art in conjunction with the Self-Taught and Outsider Art Research Collection (STOARC) presents Thirteen Australian Outsider Artists, on display in the Callan Park Gallery to Wednesday 19 May 2010.
ON THE WATERFRONT: FOUR ARTSPACE STUDIO RESIDENCY ARTISTS
An exhibition bringing together a selection of new and existing works from Marita Fraser (Vienna and Sydney), Maria Ionico (Sydney), Sean Rafferty (Sydney) and Craig Smith (London, UK) who are all currently undertaking residencies at Artspace. On the Waterfront will be on display in the SCA Galleries from Tuesday 13 to Friday 30 April 2010.

An exhibition of figurative artworks by artists of Arts Project Australia, Melbourne, will be on display at the Callan Park Gallery until Wednesday 31 March 2010.
Animal or Vegetable
Animal or Vegetable, an exhibition by SCA visiting artist, Joseph Cavalieri, will open on Tuesday 30 March, 5 to 7pm, at Sydney College of the Arts.
Test Site 2
The Fine Art graduate and doctoral students in Visual Arts and Culture at York University are conducting experiments for Test Site 2, investigating the impact of their work on new audiences. The exhibition will be on display in the SCA Galleries from Wednesday 17 March to Friday 9 April 2010.
Jess MacNeil and Huseyin Sami
An exhibition of works by two past recipients of the Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Artists Travel Scholarship, Jess MacNeil (2006) and Huseyin Sami (2005), will be on display in the SCA Gallery to Friday 26 March 2010.
SEDIMENTS OF HAPTIC PLAY
SCA Master of Visual Arts graduate, Tanya Alexandra Richards work will be on display at the Maitland Regional Gallery, until Sunday 28 February 2010.
Art after Camouflage
SCA Lecturers, Associate Professor Ann Elias and Tanya Peterson will host a session, Art After Camouflage, at the College Art Association 2010 Annual Conference in Chicago.
UBUNTU
Ubuntu, an annual sale of donated art by outstanding Australian artists, will be held at Sydney College of the Arts during February 2010.
DOMINIK MERSCH GALLERY AWARD 2010
Master of Visual Arts candidate, Locust Jones has been announced as the 2010 winner of the Dominik Mersch Gallery Award, an annual award in collaboration with Sydney College of the Arts.
ARTSTART GRANT
Sydney College of the Arts graduate, Claude Jones, has been awarded an Australia Council for the Arts Grant of $9,675 to fund a marketing strategy for the New Year.
Terry Burrows
Terry Burrows, the Technical Supervisor of the Painting Studio at SCA, will have a solo exhibition at Flinders Street Gallery, Sydney, during January 2010.

The degree of Doctor of Visual Arts (honoris causa) was conferred upon Brenda Louise Croft at the Sydney College of the Arts graduation ceremony held on Wednesday 6 April, 2009.
Julian Shaw Wins British Film Institute Award
MFDI candidate, Julian Shaw was announced as the winner of a British Film Institute award for his film Darling! The Pieter-Dirk Uys Story, during the BFI London Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
