Zelda Stedman Lectureship in Visual Art Practice

Sydney College of the Arts is proud to announce that it has become the beneficiary of funds from the late Zelda Stedman bequest. Using these funds, SCA will establish a new teaching position, the Zelda Stedman Lectureship in Visual Art Practice. This new role will allow for the expansion of the faculty’s curriculum, providing an integrated academic programme that instructs young contemporary artists on the practical aspects of establishing a viable art practice.

The Zelda Stedman Bequest (Visual Arts) was established in 1994 to further the education of creative artists in subjects related to the visual arts and to develop visual artistic skills in tertiary level students. Funds from the bequest have also been used to fund a series of traveling scholarships, supporting SCA students on exchange.
