Degree Shows 2011

Tania Safi

Towards the close of every year SCA holds two major celebrations: the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree Shows. These large-scale group exhibitions showcase the work of over 270 graduating students. Each year the amazing number of works on display creates a dynamic set of dialogues across a diverse field of artistic practices.

Exhibited across the SCA Campus, this celebration of art gives students a chance to share their ambitions and successes with those who have travelled alongside them throughout the years of their degree.

Postgraduate Degree Show

Opens Wednesday 7 December 6.00 to 8.00pm
Exhibition continues to Wednesday 14 December
Monday to Friday, 11am to 5pm
Saturday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm

"My time at Sydney College of the Arts taught me the importance of constantly learning, keeping an open mind and not shutting anything out. Glass is fragile, but determination is tough as bricks. Sydney College of the Arts taught me that. I think that being a part of the Degree Show is not only an achievement of the past three years of this degree, but it is catalyst to the opportunities and endeavors that await many of us in a successful career as practicing artists."
Anastasia Liolio, Bachelor of Visual Arts, Glass
