International Applicants

Applications for 2013 study have now closed.

If you are studying towards one of the following qualifications:

  • an Australian Year 12 qualification (e.g. NSW HSC, VCE, SA Matriculation) either in Australia or overseas in the current year; or
  • the New Zealand Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3 in New Zealand in the current year

you should apply through the Universities Admission Centre (UAC). Applications for 2014 will re-open in August 2013. Please check the UAC website.

If you are not studying any of the above qualifications in the current year you should apply directly to the University of Sydney by last working date in November. Please click here to apply.

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Visual Arts you will also need to submit a portfolio of your artwork. A panel will assess your portfolio on the basis of your: critical skills; cultural awareness; communication skills; potential for skill development; evidence of resolved ideas; and creative thinking.
