Research proposal guidelines

Research Proposal

The Research Proposal is a statement (approximately one A4 page) outlining the proposed topic of your investigation.

Students applying to undertake Honours by Studio and Research Paper must include in their proposal:

  • the ideas to be developed throughout the project
  • the intended focus of the Studio work together with the methods and media to be employed
  • the theoretical and/or critical issues to be addressed in the Research Paper.

Students applying to undertake Honours by Dissertation and Minor Studio Project must include in their proposal:

  • the ideas to be developed throughout the project
  • the theoretical and/or critical issues to be addressed in the Dissertation
  • the intended focus of the Minor Studio Project and the methods and media to be employed.
