‘I feel multiple. I am like a room with innumerable fantastic mirrors that distort by false reflections one single pre-existing reality which is not there in any of them and is there in them all.’ - Fernando Pessoa.
Masters of Visual Arts candidate Holly Williams examines uncertainty, anxiety, and the fictional self through installation art, Buddhism, and psychoanalytic theory. For this exhibition, she will create two large-scale installations that place these intangible points of enquiry within the historical context of the Kirkbride Block.
