In Return

February 2009

In Return, an exhibition showcasing the work of current students and recent graduates of the Masters of Fine Art (MFA) program at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) University in Canada, will be on display in the SCA Galleries during March. It is a follow-up to the Sydney College of the Arts graduate student exhibition that took place in 2008 at the Anna Leonowens Gallery in Halifax.

The graduate students participating in In Return make use of diverse materials and media in order to explore a range of ideas. The exhibition highlights the unique practice of each individual while also revealing how the MFA students exchange ideas and learn from each other's strengths.

Exhibiting artists include: Nicola Tibbetts, Alicia Coutts, Jenna Edwards, Scott Bertram, Alistair Rance, Pudy Tong, Barbara Sutherland, Amélie Proulx, Chris Myhr, Ege Edener, Stephen Rife, Martina Lantin, Jennifer Bélanger, Léola LeBlanc, Claire Hodge, Heejin Jang, Daniel Hutchinson, Kory Bogen, Thomas Elliott, Nam Duc Nguyen, and Josh Schwebel.

In Return will be on display at Sydney College of the Arts from Thursday 5 March to Sunday 29 March 2009. Opening Wednesday 4 March, 6 to 8pm.
Gallery hours: Wednesday to Friday, 11am to 5pm. Saturday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
