Open Day Invitation

If you are interested in studying fine art, media art or object art and design, Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 29 August. Prospective students and members of the public are invited to visit the ceramics; glass; jewellery and object; film and digital art; painting; photomedia; printmedia; and sculpture, performance and installation studios and explore the study options available. There will be a wide variety of studio demonstrations, workshops, tours and an art market.

There is plenty of on-site parking and mini-buses will make round trips from the Camperdown Campus to SCA in Rozelle.

Exhibitions

The Desired Object
An exhibition dedicated to Roland Barthes' book, Camera Lucida. It will present individual responses by SCA Photomedia undergraduates, to some of the 48 chapters/sections that make up Barthes’ book. The exhibition opening will be held at 2pm on Saturday 29 August.

Word of Mouth
An exhibition by Master of Visual Arts candidate Carolyn McKay. The exhibition will be on display in Dedspace.

The annual student exhibition devised by the Object Art and Design Studios of SCA.
