Imperial Slacks was a social and cultural experiment that functioned as the home, studio and gallery space of 16 emerging artists. Their collective incandescent energy and alternate way of thinking created a pulse beyond the gallery into life with the same intensity and sense of chaos. Campbelltown Arts Centre and Sydney College of the Arts Galleries will profile the old and new of Imperial Slacks, representing the complexity of hybrid practices.
