Biography
Mahalya Middlemist is a Sydney-based film /video/media artist.
Research
Middlemist's areas of research interests are situated within the convergence of fine art and screen-based culture. Her research involves the production of creative works. Her interests include: dance film and autobiographical film, dance film and experimental film/video theory; film production as opposed to video; stop-frame animation and single-frame filming; and experimental filmic processes.
