Research
Lojewski's practice focuses on an exploration of cultural and geographic environments, and attempts, through photography, to make sense of his surroundings. His work deals with cultural aspects of society, often depicting the mundane and ordinary in an approach that brings together an anthropological interest and an exploration of visual language. His photographic practice is not fixed on fine art expression, but sees its role equally as archiving and recording issues of historical and cultural significance. His most recent colour work explores issues of narrative, combining digital image making and pigment printing.
