Peter Giles Memorial Scholarship in Pharmacy


Established by Mrs Judith Giles in honour of her late husband Mr Peter Giles, an alumnus of the Faculty of Pharmacy, to support commencing undergraduate students studying the Bachelor of Pharmacy, who can demonstrate financial disadvantage.  

Open to: Students commencing their first year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy
  Australian citizen or permanent residents enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place who are able to provide evidence of AUSTUDY, ABSTUDY, Youth Allowance or other payments from the Department of Human Services.
Value: $6,000 per year
Duration:  Tenable for 4 years

Blooms the Chemist - John Sidgreaves Scholarship


This scholarship was established to honour the commitment and outstanding contributions of John Sidgreaves to the Faculty of Pharmacy and profession of community pharmacy. 

Open to: Students entering their fourth and final year of the degree.
  Students from a lower socio-economic background (as determined by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC)).
  Students with a minimum credit average in the first three years of the degree.
  Been employed by a pharmacy full-time of part-time for a minimum of one year.
Value: $5,000

The John A Loveridge Scholarship in Pharmacy and Management


Established in 2017, this Scholarship has been generously donated by John A Loveridge to assist students commencing in the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Management course. 

Open to: Applicants who are Australian citizens or an Australian Permanent Residents who apply and subsequently gain admission into the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Management in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney.
  Applicants must obtain an ATAR of 90 in their NSW HSC or equivalent.
Value and Duration: The Scholarship is valued at $20,000 per annum and is tenable for the full-time (24 credit points of study per semester) duration of the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Management (5 years).
