Dr Michael Bowen, from the School of Psychology, won the NSW Early Career Researcher of the Year award, the first time this prize has been offered as part of the NSW Premier's Prizes for Science and Engineering
Associate Professor Michael J. Biercuk, from the School of Physics and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems, has won the Eureka Prize for Outstanding Early Career Researcher.
The Australian Research Council (ARC) has granted more than $2.2 million to researchers from the Faculty of Science under its Linkage Projects scheme in 2015.
