The Animal-Plant Interactions Group (APIG)
APIG represents a major research theme within the School, concerning the behavioural, physiological, ecological and evolutionary interactions between animals and plants. The group's aims are:
- To provide a focus for developing an international research presence within the School in the field of animal-plant interactions;
- To provide a supportive and intellectually innovative environment in which to train research students and to develop the careers of post-doctoral scientists;
- To establish and maintain a set of core facilities to be shared among the group;
- To promote the teaching of animal-plant interactions at undergraduate and graduate level.
