Manager, School Administration
Current occupant: Debbie Castle
Main Duties: Manage and coordinate School’s administration; manage School’s administration team; provide strategic planning advice to the HoS and academic staff; review processes and procedures; coordinate and analysis of ITL surveys; coordinate information for Handbook, annual report, etc; prepare and analyse staff workload data; research grant information and Scholarship Index; manage the prizes and Scholarships for the School; and service the research committee.
Executive Assistant & HR Administrator
Current occupant: Rosanna Scaravilli
Main Duties: First point of contact for all phone, email and clerical support for HoS; provide administrative support for the Head of School (HoS); manage and coordinate HoS diary, email, travel, etc; service of School Board and School Advisory Committee and any ad hoc committees chaired by the HoS; and School HR administration, including honorary, visiting scholar, research affiliates, permanent, fixed term, and casual staff contracts.
Student Services Coordinator
Current occupant: Vlasta Chiang Soto
Main Duties: Responsible for administration of all UG student matters, UG results processing (first year, intermediate, senior); administrative support for the Director of First year; service the School Teaching Committee; timetabling and room bookings for all UG units and ad hoc assessments; and manage special consideration, credit transfer applications, etc.
Student Services Assistant
Current occupant: Casual
Main Duties: Primary contact for all student, staff and public enquiries; Bridging School administration; Summer School administration; coordinate credit, special consideration, special permission and student at risk matters; coordinate support for disability students, liaise with Resources Officer on all matters related to students, including card or key distribution; order and monitor School stationery supplies; and provide support for School seminar series, including travel/accommodation arrangements.

Manager, eResources (Educational technology support and development)
Current occupant: Aida Yalcin
Main Duties: Strategically plan and manage the work of the School of Biological Sciences’ e-Resources Unit, in respond to academic / administration needs of the School and outside clients. Develop and manage projects that assist in the development and implementation of Schools’ objectives and strategic goals and direction; ensure appropriate delivery of electronic resources; train and supervise staff to develop various resources; liaise with similar professionals to maintain currency of expertise in developing electronic resources.
Current occupant:Nic Barker
Main Duties: Provides configuration and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems; in-house on-demand application development; server administration; planning and implementation of electronic resources; HERDC collection; CMS, LMS, IRMA, RPM system support for academic staff; and technical support to School staff for the use of computer resources.
Postgraduate & Honours Student Services Coordinator
Current occupant: Joanna Malyon
Main Duties: Responsible for coordination of all administrative matters for Postgraduate Coursework, Research and Honours students; organise APR interviews and annual interviews for postgraduate research students, collation and administration of Honours and PG results; general support for the Honours, Postgraduate Coursework and Postgraduate Studies Committees; coordinate Research Supervisor Connect and look after initial enquiries and on-going monitoring of enquiries; coordinate the School’s Postgraduate and Honours Seminar Series; and assist in the providing card/key access to students in consultation with Resources Officer.
