The Molecular Ecology, Evolution, and Phylogenetics lab runs regular workshops, mainly on phylogenetics. Participation in these workshops is free, but registration is essential. Details of future workshops will be posted here.
Two workshops on "Introduction to Phylogenetic Analysis" will be held in July 2014. The first will be a one-day workshop, held on Friday 11 July in conjunction with the Genetics Society of Australasia Conference at the University of Sydney. The second will be a two-day workshop, held on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 July at the University of Sydney. Further details of these workshops will be available here in due course.

The MEEP laboratory held a free one-day workshop on the statistical software R. The workshop was organised and led by MEEP PhD student Sebastián Duchêne. It was attended by a total of 28 researchers and students, mostly from the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Sydney.

The MEEP laboratory held a free two-day workshop on phylogenetic analysis, with a focus on Bayesian phylogenetics. The first day of the workshop covered introductory phylogenetics and maximum likelihood. The second day of the workshop dealt with advanced topics in Bayesian phylogenetics. A practical class was held on each day.
