Earthwatch – Sydney bandicoot conservation

October 25, 2011
Help protect Sydney’s bandicoots.

Earthwatch is looking for volunteers to spend a day in Manly’s North Head Sanctuary, with wildlife ecologists from the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, to learn about the threats facing bandicoots and use scent lures to attract and film predators.

This is a rare opportunity to get up close to one of Sydney’s more endangered mammals. The experience will also look great on a CV. Events will run over November and December 2011.
