Dr Diana Thomas (nee Boden), BSc (Hons), PhD ATCL
Diana is the Scientific Director of CEBPGAN (Centre for Evidence Based Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition) and co-ordinates the running of the Centre's activities. She organises and tutors at the CEBPGAN evidence-based workshops and is conducting a number of systematic reviews for the Cochrane Collaboration on subjects such as the effect of exercise on type 2 diabetes and the effects of low glycemic index diets on obesity and on diabetes.
She obtained her PhD on exercise and the glycemic index of foods in the Human Nutrition Unit of the School of Molecular and Microbial Biosciences at the University of Sydney and is particularly interested in the role of nutrition in the prevention and curing of illnesses.
