2017 VICE-CHANCELLOR'S AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE

This year eight staff members from the School of Chemistry were included in the Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence. Now in their second year, the awards are a whole-of-university, peer-nominated recognition program that acknowledge impact, leadership, entrepreneurship, mentorship and industry and community engagement.

This is a wonderful achievement for the School and we would like to congratulate the following people:-

  • Professor Richard Payne for Outstanding Research.
  • Professor Michael Kassiou for Outstanding Research Engagement and Innovation.
  • Professor Greg Warr for Outstanding Mentoring and Leadership.
  • Dr Ellen Braybon for Outstanding Contribution to Educational Excellence.
  • Dr Shane Wilkinson for Outstanding Contribution to Educational Excellence.
  • Dr Jeanette Hurst for Outstanding Contribution to Educational Excellence.
  • Dr Nicholas Proschogo for Outstanding Contribution to Research Excellence.

These awards will be presented at a special ceremony on 14 August 2017 as part of the University's Innovation Week.
