The Chemistry School is actively committed to maintaining and expanding its links with High School and TAFE teachers throughout New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory. Dr Jeanette Hurst is in charge of coordinating and expanding the ways we can be of assistance to school teachers.

Workshops run from May to the school holidays in July. A calendar of current Chemistry Kickstart Workshop bookings can be found at the bottom of the page.

Chemical Monitoring and Management
In these workshops we do experiments from the Chemical Monitoring and Management topic.
The students participate in a series of hands-on experiments and instrumental demonstrations.
Each year we have been running these for about 100 schools (1500 students).
Places fill up quickly so please contact Dr Hurst as soon as possible.

The workshop takes approximately 2 hours.
The cost is $25.00 (excl GST) per student. We have a minimum of 15 students per session and a maximum of 40.
The workshops are run during Term 2 at the following times Mondays to Fridays: 10.00am to 12 noon and 1.00pm to 3.00pm.
