Tibra Capital Work Integrated Learning Scholarship in Mathematics

The Tibra Capital Work Integrated Learning Scholarship in Mathematics was established in 2017 for the purposes of encouraging enthusiastic and dedicated Science students at the University of Sydney to undertake work-integrated learning as part of their degree and providing them with financial support for their academic study.

Successful scholarship recipients will receive financial support of $15,000 and a valuable work integrated learning experience during the summer break with Tibra. Recipients enrol into WILS2001 and receive academic credit for undertaking the experience.

These Scholarships will be open to full-time University of Sydney students enrolled in a degree within the Faculty of Science and undertaking a major in Mathematics, Statistics or Financial Mathematics and Statistics. Students must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident;
  • Have an ATAR of at least 90 (or equivalent);
  • Have a WAM of at least 75;
  • Have completed at least 96 credits points of study at the University by
    the end of Semester 2, 2017;
  • Be available for a work integrated learning experience of up to 10 weeks from November 2017 to February 2018 at either Tibra’s Austinmer or Bondi Junction office.

For Summer 2017/2018, the work integrated learning experience will commence on Monday 27 November 2017 and runs for up to 10 weeks.
