Direct application dates

Honours:
The deadline for Honours applications in the Faculty of Science are usually the end of November for Semester 1, and the end of June for Semester 2. Applicants should check Sydney Courses for the relevant closing date for their chosen course.

Postgraduate coursework:
The deadline for postgraduate coursework applications in the Faculty of Science are usually the end of January for Semester 1, and the end of June for Semester 2. There are some exceptions with certain science postgraduate coursework degrees having significantly earlier closing dates. Applicants should check Sydney Courses for the relevant closing date for their chosen course.

Postgraduate research:
Higher degree research has four intakes per year. These dates are available on the admissions timeline.

All applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible, as offers are made on a rolling basis.
