Centres and Institutes

The School has researchers working in specialised centres and institutes across the university and across our many campuses. Depending on your area of study, you may also have opportunities to conduct experiments, undertake studies and complete research projects in these unique centres and institutes.


Sydney Institute of Agriculture

The Sydney Institute of Agriculture was established to bring together agricultural research from across the University of Sydney and contribute valuable knowledge to the agriculture and food sector.

University of Sydney Marine Studies Institute

This instite promotes marine science within the University and externally, and fosters interdisciplinary research in marine science.

Australian Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis

The Australian Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis (ACMM) is a cross-disciplinary research centre, bringing together world-class research activities on the characterisation of materials and biological structures at the micro, nano and atomic scales.


 

Charles Perkins Centre

The Charles Perkins Centre is dedicated to easing the global burden of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and related conditions through innovative research and teaching.
