Admission requirements for international students

With approval from the Dean, available places will be offered to qualified international applicants, according to the following admissions criteria.

Master of Marine Science and Management

International applicants for the Master of Marine Science and Management must have:

Academic requirements English language requirements
  • a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with a credit average, or equivalent qualification
  • IELTS: overall band score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0; or
  • IBT: overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 23, and no other band below 22

Graduate Diploma in Marine Science and Management

International applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Marine Science and Management must have:

Academic requirements English language requirements
  • a Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent qualification
  • IELTS: overall band score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0; or
  • IBT: overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 23, and no other band below 22

Graduate Certificate in Marine Science and Management

This course is not available to international students.
