Admission requirements for international students

With approval from the Dean, available places will be offered to qualified international applicants, according to the following admissions criteria.

International applicants for the Master of Science in Microscopy & Microanalysis must have:

Academic requirements	English language requirements
a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area with a credit average or better from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or completed the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Microscopy & Microanalysis from the University of Sydney at credit level or better, or equivalent qualification	IELTS: overall band score of 6.5 or better with no band below 6.0; OR IBT: overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 23, and no other band below 22

Domestic applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Microscopy & Microanalysis must have:

Academic requirements	English language requirements
a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and/or appropriate experience	IELTS: overall band score of 6.5 or better with no band below 6.0; OR IBT: overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 23, and no other band below 22

Domestic applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Microscopy & Microanalysis must have:

Academic requirements	English language requirements
a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and/or appropriate experience	IELTS: overall band score of 6.5 or better with no band below 6.0; OR IBT: overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 23, and no other band below 22
