FASEB SUMMER RESEARCH CONFERENCE on MICROBIAL POLYSACCHARIDES OF MEDICAL, AGRICULTURAL, AND INDUSTRIAL IMPORTANCE.

The 2000 FASEB Summer Research Conference on Microbial Polysaccharides of Medical, Agricultural, and Industrial Importance was held at Copper Mountain, Colorado, August 13-18. The program can be found on the FASEB web site (http://www.faseb.org)

This was the second FASEB Summer Research Conference on this topic (the first having been in 1997) and was very successful. At the Conference Business Meeting it was agreed that there should be a further conference in 2003 and Arthur Tzianabos was elected as Chair for that meeting. The recommendation from the business meeting has to go to FASEB and it will be some time before the outcome is known and notice of the meeting can be sent out. However if you would like to be on the mailing list for the meeting you should email Arthur Tzianabos (atzianabos@channing.harvard.edu).

Please indicate in your email that you obtained the information on the proposed meeting from this site, as we are interested to know how effective this notice is.
