NSW School's Paper Plane Challenge

NSW School

The NSW School’s Paper Plane Challenge is a new event on the NSW schools’ calendar. Tens of thousands of students took part in school events around the state in 2015 and 2016, with 600 students taking part in the state finals at the University of Sydney Open Day.

The NSW School’s Paper Plane Challenge is organised by the Paper Pilots (on whom the movie Paper Planes is based) and the Science Teachers’ Association of New South Wales.

We run a furthest distance event and a longest airtime event and prizes will be given for the winning students in each age group. To enter, you must better the qualifying distance or time and register your details on the website before 5pm, 21 August 2017.
