The Academy, an initiative of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology in partnership with the Federal Government Department of Education, is focused on providing leadership and support for high school and primary school teachers to deliver the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies. This is being done via two projects – the Digital Technologies Challenges and Cracking the Code, as well as delivering free professional development workshops for teachers.

The Australian DT Challenges are free in-classroom activities designed to address the most technically challenging aspects of the Year 5-6 and 7-8 bands.

Cracking the Code is a fun, activity based project similar to Hour of Code, and will be launched in 2018.
