Kickstart Science
A workshop program for HSC science students
The Kickstart Science Workshops are aimed at HSC science students and teachers. These workshops are designed to meet the demand expressed by science teachers in response to changes to the NSW HSC Science syllabus. Parts of the science syllabus requires equipment or expertise in areas that many schools may not be able to provide. Kickstart workshops give HSC students a chance to do experiments and demonstrations of key ideas in the syllabus that are difficult to do in the classroom.

| Dates and times available | Workshops are available throughout the year to suit individual schools and classes. When filling in your registration form please include three preferred dates. Dates and times should also be negotiated with the program coordinators. |
| Duration | Workshops run for 2-3 hours duration. |
| Class size |
Small and large groups can be catered for. In the case of small numbers, program coordinators may combine school groups this decreasing the program fees. |

To make a booking, simply complete the online registration form. |

Once your booking has been finailsed, a letter confirming dates/venues will be issued to you immediately. |

Kickstart Physics on the Road
In 2010, Kickstart Physics on the Road featured on WIN News (Channel 9) in Wagga Wagga.
Every year a team of demonstrators from the School of Physics takes three carloads of gear out to regional centres to give the locals the chance to get their hands on experiments and interact with Physics students from the University of Sydney.
