The assistance has been awarded as part of the Social Inclusion strategy of the University of Sydney and via the Faculty of Science.

  • Able to attend the Science Teachers’ Workshop in November 2014

Assessment

All complete applications will be considered and the level of financial disadvantage assessed depending on your school’s geographical status. Those applicants who are not awarded the financial assistance package are still able to register for the STW as normal but must find alternative funds to cover the cost of attendance e.g. from their school.

1. Financial assistance package will be given to your school. It is up to the school and individual teachers to arrange the split of funds.

2. To assist the University of Sydney with it’s programs, successful applicants will be required to complete some pre-event and post-event feedback.

3. If you are not able to attend for unforeseen circumstances, your registration may be transferred to an alternative teacher from your school. You must notify us in writing not later than 2 weeks before the Workshop.
