Biographical details

Frances Doyle has graduated with a PhD and Master of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Macquarie University and The University of Sydney on various projects. She is currently employed as the Project Manager and Senior Psychologist on an NHMRC-funded project examining the specific pathways to early-onset mental health disorders.

She also works as a psychologist at the Centre for Emotional Health Clinic at Macquarie University.

Research interests

Frances’ research is focussed on understanding ways to promote child wellbeing, and her research tends to examine interactions between parents and children. One of her research interests is understanding the factors that contribute to emotional health problems in children and adolescents. Another research interest of hers isunderstanding the cognitive and social factors that influence parents' use of particular discipline practices with young children.

Current projects

She is currently working on an NHMRC-funded project examining the specific pathways to early-onset mental health disorders.
