Biographical details

Dr Rebecca Pinkus is currently a Lecturer in the School of Psychology. Prior to joining the University of Sydney, she was a Lecturer at Western Sydney University, a visiting postdoctoral fellow at UNSW, and a postdoctoral fellow at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was awarded her PhD and Master of Arts from the University of Toronto, and her Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Western University (London, Ontario, Canada).

Research interests

Dr Pinkus's research interests are in social cognition within close relationships. In particular, she is interested in how individuals balance concerns about the self with concerns about the relationship. She is also interested in how partners can help or hinder one another's health outcomes.
