Thesis title: Genetic and molecular analysis of resistance to non-adapted (heterologous) rust pathogens in barley

Thesis abstract:

In this project we will determine the genetic and molecular basis of non-host resistance in barley in response to heterologous cereal rust pathogens.The project involves resistance gene identification in response to diverse rust pathogens in selected barley mapping populations, subsequent fine mapping analysis and gene clonning.
