Thesis title: Genetic and molecular analysis of resistance to adapted and non-adapted (heterologous) rust pathogens in barley

Thesis abstract:

In this project we will determine the genetic and molecular basis of non-host resistance in barley in response to adapted and non-adapted cereal rust pathogens.The project involves resistance gene identification in response to diverse rust pathogens in selected barley mapping populations and subsequent fine mapping analysis.
