Research interests

Suzie's research interests include nutritional requirements of the hospital patient, probiotics, and nutrition in critical illness.She hascompleted honours study in philosophy and a PhD looking at methods for monitoring and evaluating nutrition in the critically ill.

Teaching and supervision

Current teaching areas are: nutritional screening and assessment methods, dietetic management of gastromedical and gastrosurgical patients, nutrition in the critically ill, and nutrition support.
