Biographical details

Dr Deng completed her PhD research in the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training based in the Flinders University of SA in Dec, 2014. She is now a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Environmental Sciences.

Research interests

.Dr Deng’s research interest is in Ecohydrology, more specifically, on tree water use. Currently, She is developing numerical method to explore how the external (e.g. soil/air water stress, light condition) and internal factors (hydraulic properties) influence tree transpiration both in the day time and night time.
