How To Apply
There are two steps to applying for the Psychology Honours program. Both steps must be completed by the deadlines. Please download and read through the Honours Information Booklet for 2013 before applying.
Step 1School of Psychology Online Application
School of Psychology Online Application Form (Applications for 2013 are closed and applications for 2014 will open in September)
All applicants(including BPsych and BA(Psych)students) must apply directly to the School of Psychology by submitting the School of Psychology online Application Form.
Applicants for our Honours program do not need to contact potential supervisors in our school before lodging your applications with us or the relevant faculty. THE RECEIPT OF SCHOOL OF PSYCHOLOGY ONLINE APPLICATION is Proof of contact with an Academic Coordinator. The students will be requested to submit an online Research Preference Form after being accepted into our Honours program. An appropriate supervisor will be allocated to each student based on the research preferences submitted.
Step 2 Faculty Applications
Applicants must apply through Sydney Courses. (Applications for 2013 are closed and applications for 2014 will open in September)
Please note: The honours degree students apply for is directly related to their undergraduate degree, i.e. a student who completed a Bachelor of Arts will need to apply for Bachelor of Arts (Honours).
International students who are currently enrolled at the University of Sydney must complete the same steps above and also complete an International Undergraduate Student Application Form and lodge the form to the International Student Office.
External International students must apply through the International Student Office.
