Psychology in other degrees
Psychology is a subject offered by the Faculty of Science. Studying Psychology is not limited to the Bachelor of Psychology (BPsych). At the University of Sydney, it is possible to study a full major in Psychology, including an Honours year, in any of the following accredited programs as well as in any degree combined with the Bachelor of Science. Entry to Honours is competitive and is currently subject to a quota. Only the following degrees have been accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
- Bachelor of Psychology (BPsych)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor of Science (Advanced) ((BSc(Adv))
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science (BLAS)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies)(BCommLibStud)
- Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHlthSci)
- Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) (provisional accreditation until students graduate from program)
- Graduate Diploma in Psychology (GDP) (Only available for graduate students wishing to complete a major in psychology)
