Muireann Irish awarded the Edgeworth David Medal

 

Congratulations to Associate Professor Muireann Irish who was awarded the 2016 Edgeworth David Medal at the Royal Society of NSW annual dinner.

The Edgeworth David Medal is Awarded by the Royal Society of New South Wales to a young scientist under the age of 35 years for contribution to the advancement of Australian science. It is named after the pioneering geologist and longstanding supporter of the Society, Sir Edgeworth David and was first awarded in 1948.
