Course outcomes

The Spatial Information Science courses will enable you to adopt effective spatial analysis methods for addressing broader environmental and socio-economic issues, examine geographical trends, embrace advances in spatial information technologies and contribute to innovations in the spatial science industry.

After completion of the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master, you will:

• have proficiency in multiple GIS and remote sensing software packages (ArcGIS, Idrisi, ENVI and Erdas Imagine)
• have developed expertise in advanced spatial analysis, geographical modeling and image processing
• be able to understand, interpret and critique results of GIS and remote sensing based analysis
